Born and raised in Elaine, Arkansas, Kim Morris' passion for writing led to the birth of her first book children's book, "The Adventures of Albert", which is based on stories told to her as a child by her grandfather Albert.  She is also the author of Tears I Shed,  Tears I Shed 2, Just Emotions, and Slipping in the Darkness. Kim writes sexy contemporary drama filled books, striking a balance between entertainment, humor and the emotions her readers have come to expect and enjoy.  

Kim also dabbles in poetry under the pen name Kyrielle Simile. She recently published her first book of poetry "Rhythms in Purple".  Her poem, "Raising Sons" was published in the October 2010 issue of Forge Journal and her poem "In Memory Of" was featured by Nita Bee's Poetry Spotlight.

When not writing, Kim loves to read, attend WNBA games, travel, and to spend time with her family.  Kim currently resides in Jonesboro, AR. She can be found on Facebook and followed on Tik Tok, Threads and Instagram @poetdiva1.
